Online via Zoom and streamed live via NEDA Regional Office 1 – Ilocos Facebook Page
In line with the celebration of the National Heritage Month (NHM), the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Regional Office 1 has lined-up various activities to advocate and to further spread awareness on our rich culture and heritage in the region and the country.
This year’s theme: “VICTORY AND HUMANITY: Upholding Filipino Heritage and Identity”, highlights the conservation and promotion of Philippine cultural heritage and the Filipino identity amidst the Covid 19 pandemic. This will likewise remind important parts of our history that define our past, and shape who we are today as people, and look back at our leaders and role models who upheld our values as Filipinos.
The following were the specific objectives of the forum:
To build awareness on the rich culture and heritage of the region and the country; and
To showcase our history in view of heroism and cultural assets.
Representatives from the Regional Line Agencies (RLAs), Local Government Units (including barangays), academe, civil society groups, youth sector, business sector, and other marginalized groups.
