OFWs and their families continuously seek ways to improve their lives. Post-life abroad, OFWs need to still become economically productive, either through local employment or venturing into business or engaging in a livelihood. Families left behind can help to augment the families’ income. This section provides the OFWs and their families the information on starting a business, and available livelihood, business matching, and employment opportunities and various kinds of trainings. It also gives information on the livelihood and capacity development assistance programs of the government agencies such as the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), National Reintegration Center for OFWs (NRCO) and the local government units (LGUs) that cater to OFWs and their families.
